There was a programme on TV recently showing that Dolphins target young porpoise and head butt them to death (up in Scotland), reasons unknown, possibly low fish stock and protection of their own survival. Wonder if its now happening down South. On the Leopold dive we veered off and watched a Dolphin and 2 Porpoises.

Harbour porpoise. that is my guess.

Look here for more info.... http://www.wdcs.org/dan/publishing.n...2568F8004E7AF5

Poor thing. They are classed as "vulnerable", but alos are pretty short-lived for a cetacean, only 10-12 years.

This little guy had a blow hole, which is why I assumed a Dolphin, do Porpoises have blow holes?

If that color is right it could be a Dall's Porpoise
