Wondering what you saw under water? Here's help!

Kåre Telnes who runs www.seawater.no is an underwater photographer who is building up a very comprehensive Norwegian marine life database. Now obviously you have some other species in the UK, but many are common for the North East Atlantic and in general you will recognise the animals as the same as yours. So the database is also applicable to UK waters.

On one of the Norwegian forums I asked if Kåre would be able to make a thumbnail "fish-finder" to ease the work finding out what you've seen during the last dive. Wham, a couple of hours later he had the first effort up and running.
The key is made rather humourous while it will never be a scientific guide. More a guide for you and me.
The beta version is out so do have a look and click around. If you have any suggestions for improvement please send them directly to Kåre or post them here and I'll forward it.

I think Kåre is giving us a fantastic tool here.

Kyrre
