Vivian Trout went for a dip in vivian yesterday.. dropped down by the 6m platform and made our way to around 9-10m where we saw 2 trout! we've been going to Vivian for the last 2 years on and off and never seen anything in there before...other than the usual headless gnomes etc.. Must of been cos we were the first ones in...the mob hadn't scared them off yet..bet we did though Has anyone else seen these? is there anything else in there?

| I've noticed they've put an appearance in Dorry recently as well. I haven't seen any in Dorry before in the short amount of time I've been diving in there (18 mths or so) ColinM

I saw the brown trout in Vivian on my first ever dive in there - still no one believes me in my club that there's anything in there! I've stumbled across a fair few in dotty though (or they've stumbled on me!)

I think thats the point with places like Vivian though isnt it?..it makes them great places to go and test kit etc. Once youve dived the place a couple of times you know the place inside out and can concentrate on whatever it is you're testing/learning.

Vivian Wild life Hi Simon, I was also at Vivian on Sunday and saw the two Trout. I have seen them on all of my four visits over the past three years. Talking to the owner they stocked it, but some local scallies were jumping over the gate at night and fishing them out. As for other beasties, when it warms up a little, and you are late out as the sun is going down nice size eels emerge from the leaf litter. They have a habit of tagging on underneath divers swimming in your shadow. I know its not the most exciting place, but good for practise and taking novice divers to practice free descents, SMB stuff and the list goes on. Couldn't argue with the weather either. Glorious sunshire. Steve
