Good article. I will remind myself ; "don't panic" if a shark decides to take a chunk out of me. Quite right though, the ocean is a wilderness, not a swimming pool.

Wanker deserved to be eaten, speer fishing in shark infested waters.

Edit: Shattered, spelling (which is normally of very poor quality) deteriorating exponentially as the day goes on

Yeah well I'm going to stuff myself full of fatty bad for you foods, loads of booze and drugs and stuff. Then, any shark that eats me will know about it, I can tell you!!!!!

Actually, that makes some sense. If I secreted a bottle of shark poison or a bag of little pointy things about my person when diving then, when I got eaten by the shark, the poison or pointy things would kill the shark!! I know it is petty but I would like to know that the sharks that eats me is soon going to be a dead shark!!

I was in Bristol Channel Dive on the weekend, they stock Shark repellent. I'll tell you what, I didn't see any sharks...

In certain circles, the term "to beat off" has an entirely different meaning from the one used here.

I am obviously suffering from a case of arrested development, as I immediately thought of the more colourful interpretation of the phrase "how to beat off a shark" than the more obvious one
