Another reef under threat

It does make me sad to read the following:

Great Barrier Reef on the danger list - National - smh.com.au

I know that several sites in Sharm has now been closed too for the same reasons... what a terrible shame and ecological disaster...

Just my 2 p worth

If things go how their warning, you won't be allowed to fly to the Red Sea without paying through the nose or saving up carbon points or whatever?

Already happens here, not on dive sites admittedly, but there are now restrictions on walkers doing the Cradle Mountain - Lake St. Clair Track in the Western Tasmania world Heritage Area, you have to pay and they limit the number of permits. Bit of a bugger when you live here and can't walk in your own hills and mountains
