While we are all here ..... how about a petition against Kosher meat .. Halal and Kosher slaughter - Is it barbaric? Debates on the UK Free Speech Forums ....and bull fighting ..

We are at top of the food chain (mostly) and it shows.

I am disgusted at this barbaric behaviour. I dont think these people even deserve to be called human. I cant believe that anyone could do such a thing to these gentle clever animals. No-one and nothing not even ( maybe hard to believe ) the people doing this dispicable thing deserve to be treated this way. Someone needs to speak up for those who cannot speak!

Yes well.... what can one say, it defeats my logic, why is there any need to kill these creatures in this manner?

Personally I'd much rather they weren't killed at all but the manner in which this is taking place is nothing short of appauling. I doubt the petition will make a difference but it's worth a try.

I was making an unsuccessful attempt at light humour after discussing such a morbid video... my bad. Please accept the addition of the ;-) at the start of the comment above to illustrate that point.

And further to the point made later about the English not being so good if history is read acurately... yeap... I'll go with that one as well. I wouldn't have been a keen supporter of Richard the Lionheart if I'd been about in his time, for instance.

And NO I don't hold all Japanese responsible for the actions of the few "Fishermen". It's like hating all arabs for the actions of a few terrorists... pathetic and uncalled for. So for the record I don't subscribe to the "I hate all for the sake of a few" genre.

It's like saying I should hate all Icelanders for the Whale haunting.... oh crap, here we go again!....

Petitions won't stop this, it's ingrained in the nature of a nation that has many traits that the 'west' veiw as 'barbaric'. What you see on that video is probably much less horrific than what the same nation perpetrated in China before the start of WW II. Back then it was human beings that were put to the sword - but not for food - just 'fun', Japanese style.
