i'm getting very jelous of all that viz your getting at Chesil, down hear in the south we only look at our computers, i think i need to dive Chesil can you give direction if poss i'm in Gravesend Kent or if you never heard of it Dartford Bridge is close

9. is a goatfish.

I duno about the triggerfish - it's triggeresque, but the pectoral and anal fins dont look quite right. Where was it taken?

The Triggerfish had me wondering too Livvy. It seems to be missing that distinctive 'trigger' fin. It spotted me just after that photo was taken and disappeared under a flat piece of wreckage. I managed to lie on the bottom and get another shot before it disappeared, but not particularly good...

....in all seriousness, probably a trigger thats been in the wars, very agressive fish at times. I should know, my friends bit the top of my finger off when i was cleaning the tank!!

Nice pics, Dave.. I hate not knowing what a fish is called! There are loads of books around which will help you ID them critters! I have one called 'great british marine anaimals' which currently has a lovely pic of a blenny on the front. Tells you a bit about them as well as what their name is.
