Q. Why did the razorbill raise her bill?

A. So the sea urchin could see her chin!

Sadly its a fact of life, we occasionally get mature seals washed up on the beach at Seahouses, but from what Simon said last night and on the news today there may be 70+ seal pups washed off the islands during last weeks storm. The Northern Hares were particularly badly hit and this is where most seemed to have been. Very sad as althouh you would think they had some sort of shelter and security there, it wouldn't have taken much to sweep them out to sea.

However, seals are apparently still being born and so, no doubt things may recover somewhat. Keep watching.

Thanks Stesh.

Have to say I thought they might show the clip where the seal found the end of my mask strap and decided to pull!... Little monkey!

(I always knew there was a good reason why we practice mask clearing!!)

Safe diving,
