What did this?

Was at St Abbs at the weekend and bumped into this poor little fellow. A mullet with a precise, deep laceration across it's body. It was in a very bad way. What do you think caused the injury? My guesses are seal, propeller or malicious fisherman.

hmmm. i believe that mullet were virtually inedible, only being eaten by the french otherwise, i would have gladly stuffed him in my harness.
