The release date for Sharkwater is 22 feb. The is a lot of info trailers etc on the Sharktrust website

It should be an excellent film - well worth the cost of a cinema ticket!

I must have been living on another planet, i haven't heard about this film! Just had a look on the website and I for one will be spending a few quid on cinema tickets.

it has won a whole load of awards, but I think it is only through my SHark Trust connections that i am aware of it - i thought people here ought to know.

We did a review of Sharkwater in the Febuary issue of Sport Diver, and the March issue – which is out in a week or so – has got an interview with the director, Rob Stewart.

Excellent film, well shot and hard-hitting - some nasty graphic footage of shark finning, etc, and it shows how organised crime is behind a lot of it. Apparently, according to the film-makers, the only thing more lucrative than shark finning is drug trafficking...
