Exclamation Petition to stop cuttlefish fishing in Babbacombe Bay
This is taken directly from Digigreen and appears on a number of forums:

Every year many cuttlefish are caught when they come in to breed. The practice is depleting the stock of cuttlefish in the area as they are prevented from breeding.

A petition has been started to bring this to the attention of the UK government and UK residents can sign up at

Petition to: ban cuttlefish catching in babbacombe bay breeding ground.

Closing date is 16th March 2008 so don't hang about.

Just wondering whats going to happen at Babbacombe when De'Savery starts his redevelopment of the Cary Arms.. bet they restrict access, dump building rubbish in the water, and when it is finished be too expensive for the likes of me!
