There's a weird campsite at Weybourne, I think it's called Foxhills. They wouldn't take bookings last year, you just had to turn up and hope for the best... We use the garden of a farmer a couple of miles from Holt, but he can only take about 3 tents! It does have a pub with cheap food nearby though. I think there's a reasonable one at Kelling Heath and there must be some around Sheringham. Failing that, the Youth hostel will do you a dorm bed.

Excellent, thx, a few choices there - I never book anywhere, just turn up. (btw have now got self cert form

Train times Been looking into train times as I don't drive. To get to Sheringham for 9.30 am from London I need to take the 4.30am train with 3 changes. I don't I am up for that with all my dive kit.

Hi All, I still have a few places left on both these courses (see post at top of thread), but I have to send the final numbers off to Seasearch central next week, so they can get the course materials together. Is there anyone left who'd like an application form? Is there anyone who posted one back and didn't get a response? Now I've filled enough places to break even, is there anyone who'd like to do the Observer as a refresher at £15? And finally, if there's anyone who thinks this sounds like the dullest thing in the world, I'm just off to spend a weekend staring at sponge down a microscope. Beat that!

nothin wrong with sponges ....wonderful things.....they dont move when you try to take pics of them
