What's one of these? Please

I saw this in the Red Sea a few weeks ago and have been trying to find out what it is ever since. I think I saw similar pic on here a few years ago but can't find it now. Is it something to do with nudibrancs? The "petals" stand about 30mm high.

Thanks people, I thought it had something to do with nudibrancs, what a shame I couldn't see the critter that laid them. Guess I'll just have to go again then

You can quite often see them on UK dives - although I think every one that I have seen in the UK has been white. Still really bootiful though.

The ones I've seen in the Red Sea have been red/pink rather than orange



This is what they look like when they're fully grown, the fin gives an indication of size
