    A local Marine Biologist beleives that the sword fish had been forced off a reef near Porthcawl by the ever growing school of Hammerheads, who were themselves battling for survival as the resident Mantas have increased signifigantly during the last year....................

    I'd have thought the very fact that it had been in the water off Barry Island was enough to render it inedible. Not surprised it died if it had got anywhere near the outfall off the Knap.
