Hello,
Which is the best British waters fish ID book to get? (via Amazon.co.uk if poss). Mainly fish but a bit of the other stuff would be good too.
Thanks,
MFF.

great british marine animals 2nd edition by paul naylor has never let me down yet so i would suggest that
Thanks for the recommendations.
A big difference in price £10.50, Naylor, to £33, Helmut, on Amazon. (or £121 2nd hand!!!)
I have a few Helmut books already so I know they are good, but I may go for the Naylor which will leave me £20 to buy AIR.
I'd go for Naylor, plus a Collins pocket guide to help with all the stuff that is less often seen and isn't in Naylor.
Do these book's come like a train spotter's guide, so that you can tick them off when you see the fishy/sea weed etc?
Are they waterproof as books get very soggy after a bit in the sea?
