| How do you tell. I know the difference between male and female crabs, it's obvious once you've seen a few, but how do you tell what sex a lobster is?. Last edited by Doug Parker : 14-08-04 at 11:24 PM. Reason: 823 points. |

| Any use to you - Just found this To determine a lobster's sex, look at the first pair of swimmerets (the pair closest to the head). These are hard and bonelike in the male, but soft and featherlike in the female. Found this for you oh mighty one. Daz

| Adrian Just for clarity, your picture is in regard to the difference between a male crab and female crab and not male and female lobsters. Regards Simon

| Seems a pointless question to me. If you've got crabs, tough luck. If you've got lobsters, try explaining that one to the wife!!
