| Spotted one the other evening off Seaford head. I think it had bedded down for the night. It looked decidedly grumpy and spiky. Tried the waggly fingers trick but I don't think it was in the mood. Is it true raised tentacles and a white rectangle meant it wanted to be left alone? can't say I blame it anybody drifting into my bedroom, shining torches and wriggling their fingers at me wouldn't be too popular. |

| The white rectangle was amazing, Cuttlefish must have set squares. With it's camouflage/skin texture we were really lucky to spot it, if we hadn't stopped to look at a lobster and hovered over the cuttlefish we would have missed it. What do cuttlefish do at night? This one seemed to have picked a spot and blended in. |
