    strobes

OK so I have just purchased a couple of strobe for the wife and I, getting dark and cold and like the idea of a point of reference in the darker waters around the UK.

A couple of points/questions or have you any experience of the following:
How do seals react to strobes?
Obviously electric fields attract marine animals, strobes give off these fields?

Do you mean torches or camera strobes?

    Talking

We used to use those for emergencies on night dives etc, but not for anything else. Might be a good idea if you get separated in low vis, but is really just a huge annoyance for buddies - steady torch beam much less disorienting. Didn't really seem to attract anything, more like a repellant!
