diving in Malta

I'll be diving with Mad Shark Diving Malta when I go across 1st week in June (taking my mCCR and they understand the unit)

Dived with them before (and a number of other organisations)

Never had a bad experience with any of the organisations over there

Sorry that you did you did not get the experience that I did.

My first days diving after qualifying on Gozo was when I transferred to Malta and went with with Dive Deep Blue, yes I was nervous, yes I was anxious. However I experienced a really good atmosphere, a great check dive on which I needed and recieved extra help; cam band lacing and air hogging etc, then topped off the day with a trip to do the Maori. What a great first days diving as a qualified diver. There is a lot of anxiety attached to joining a truck full of qualified divers and not wanting to be the weakest link. They helped me through that.
Based on my experience I would always reccomend them to newly qualifieds.

re dive sites there

when i went 2 years back i did 6 dives in 5 days.

my personal favs were

anchor bay
Zurria (bell cave)
the comino caves (lighthouse and the other lot)

i also dived the maroui, rozi and found both of them to be very dull, lifeless and unintersting dives.

the rozi in particular felt like diving in a clearer cversion of capenwray

Only ever used Maltaqua - for cylinder and weight hire.

But from the service I have had would recommend them.
