| Quick tip What I do when diving areas of variable temperature changes - had five thermoclines on one dive in the Galapagos - is bring my drysuit hood, then wear it OUTSIDE the mask strap. I usually began the diving with the hood around my neck, and when I passed into colder water, up went the hood! Vice versa for the ascent. This has allowed me have dives with a 2mm shortie and diveskin, and remain in the comfort zone. Haven't seen anyone else use this method on my travels, so I thought I'd pass it on. Works for me, esp. on long warmwater dives. All the best, Seadeuce |
