Diving in Oman

Dear all,

It has just come to light that my missus has got access to free accommodation in Muscat, Oman.
I think I’ve read on here about diving out there, could anyone offer any further info?

All the best,

Ian

I'm sure there is a YDer living on Muscat. Can't remember his name though. Sure he'll tip up, or someone else will remember his name.

NeilB is 'our man in Oman' and will be able to put your right. Bren has also got a lot of experience of Oman.

My experience of Oman is limited but from the odd bit I've seen of the area you have to go!

Thumbs up

Aye Ian,

Neil Bedwin (NeilB) is the chap to speak to here. Mrs T. and I dived with him a couple of years back when we went over. A hugely decent bloke with a wicked sense of humour and a hospitality that anyone would find most welcome indeed.

As for the diving! Top drawer mate. Pristine hard and soft coral and loads of! Tons of sea-life which, coz it rarely sees divers, doesn't dart off in terror.

If you'll take my advice mate, GO!!!! and go soon!
