Anyone dived Halkidiki ??
Following on from my "who to dive with in Cyprus" thread, for reasons unbeleiveable we have had to change holiday plans - now booked for Halkidiki.

Anyone dived there ? Any info on dive centres ??

I've visited Halkidiki a few year ago. I really liked the place. I stayed in Afitos a village near Kalithea. Around Halkidiki there are a lot of diving spots.
I didn't dive while I was out there but a diving center I remember is Sea World http://www.seaworld.gr which was based in Sani Beach Hotels.
From a quick search I found Odyssey dive club http://www.odysseydive.com , club dive Kassandra, Nireas Diving Center http://www.nireas.gr

Hi JohnK,

Search for my trip report from Halkidiki from July of 2005 in the Dive Trip files. Oddyssey Dive Club are a great outfit. I am sure you will have no worries with them and will enjoy their spread of sites. Say hello to Ludo and Phreddie for me when you meet them. I'm considering taking my kids to learn to dive with them.

Thumbs up Odyssey Dive Club
Another vote for Oddyssey Dive Club. My wife & I did our OW course with Phreddie, she's an excellent instructor & it's a great outfit.
Only got to dive a couple of the sites they use, but the list looked good.
