Snorkelling in the southern red sea

Is it possible to snorkel in between dives in the south? Or do the site/sea conditions generally prohibit it? I'm rather partial to spending every waking minute in the sea...

It all depends on where you are, the currents, and the local wildlife !

It depends on where you are and when. Normally the sea conditions prohibit snorkelling in the south.
