| borneo vs Djibouti the time has come to book a warm water holiday for the end of this year and out of about 15 contenders and budget restrictions its has been narrowed down to: Borneo with Tony Backhurst or Djibouti with Dive Tours (similar cost). Has anybody been to either of these places before? which would they prefer?

| Borneo - Sipadan? By Borneo, do you mean Sipadan? What kind of package is being offered? That's the main dive location in the area, though you also have Layang Layang, Lankayan, Sangalaki...The diving there is great. You have a real mix of big and small marine life. Drop offs at Sipadan and muck diving in Mabul.. I've not been to Djibouti, so I would go there - always try something new! And I am sure there will be less divers there than Sipadan. Also, you say "end of the year". The best time for Sipadan is more like April to December, with the very best in the summer months. Sipadan Dive Sites |
