Diving in Las Palmas?
Thinking about a cheeky 4 - 5 day trip somewhere. Have found a cheap flight to Las Palmas and wondered if anyone had experience of diving here and a recommendation for a dive centre?

I like the sound of the south, but getting there under my own steam looks like it's going to cost as much as the flight or take too long for a short trip. Am I wrong?

Las Palmas as in capital of Gran Canaria?

The north of the island will be blown out most of the summer as the winds have changed. There are some wrecks there (not done them) as well as Arinaga reserve (near the airport) which has some great shore diving.
