On Grand Sea Serpent they stocked the cabin fridge with beers and then worked out how many you had drunk at the end of the week, probably be the same on Sea Serpent.

The odd beer while having a shower is nice but I also took a box of wine.

A bottle of vodka sees me through the week nicely - mixed with free soft drinks of course. On the liveaboards I've been on, there's actually very little drinking done - mainly because by the time it gets to 9pm everybody's already falling asleep. Then there's the early start at 6am!

In the past we've taken our own beer on board. Nobody minds.

Yep GSS was beers in room fridge, and diamond and Hurricane were an honesty system. 2 main types - Sakara and i cant remember the other one, approx $4 each.
Also had bottles of wine but have to say i didnt really like them.

Agree with everyone else about taking whiskey / rum with the cokes and lemonades being included in the price.

Have a fabulous time

we went on SnapDragon this year in May and got really ripped off - we asked the tour guide to stop off to get beer before getting on the boat, he phoned the boat up to tell then what we were asking, and colluded with them to not stop the coach until the harbour. When we got on the boat the beer was £4 each, and it had run out by the 2nd to last night !!!

b@st@rds !!! definitely take spirits

(we weren't drinking heavily, they just didn't bother to get supplies...)

I just came back from a liveaboard from St Maarten to St Kitts and all the alcohol was included in the price

On all four TonyB boats I went on people bought booze on land/ Gatwick and carried it aboard as the boat price was s high

I don't drink on liveaboards - until I discovered the joy of drinking a hot chocolate + amereto in the shower after a night dive

Have a wonderful trip

Venus
