| Corralejo Fuerteventura. Max depth 20 meters, great for a family holiday not too sausage and chips with some nice restaurants and cheap to stay at and get to. There's a great dive centre there (which I can dig out the info if you wanted) that's purpose built and aven has it's own pool, great staff and not expensive either - and locally run and owned. It's one of the best diving hols I've ever had, and there's loads to do on the island as well, if you're not diving. Quote:

| Also in Fuerteventura There is Deep Blue in Caleta de Fuste. A good friendly outfit with who I have dived with a couple of times (and I'm going back in Novemer). Paul

Porte Pollensa is near to Alcudia and looks like a finished vesion of Spain, i.e. all the buildings are finished! I believe Dave's lot do pickups, but we trained with him when he was working in Pollensa. It's got a nice family seaside town atmosphere and there looks to be plenty of hill walking along the coastal route back to Palma down the West side of the island. There's also Scuba Mallorca in Pte Pollensa, but since it's the training you're after, I'm not sure who you'd get there, but can recommend them for their excellent dive guide, Ron.
