Did I mention.........

That in a few hours time I shall be flying out to Gerona and staying in L'Estertit in Spain and tomorrow I shall be diving the Medes or Medos Islands.
Did I mention I shall be away for a whole week from this grey miserable wet place called Lancashire?
Did i mention this will be my first ever warm water diving? I hear people mention things like blue seas and good visability when they talk about diving in warm water. I shall let you all know what that feels like for someone that has only done UK diving.
Oh did I mention I have got myself a semi dry for this trip?
Safe diving everyone.

Yaz

You'll hate it. The vis in spain was down to only 25m last week, and the temperature was only about 25c. You'll be begging them to let you come home to Capernthingy

If you have to wear a semi-dry, surely it's not warm water diving?

Medes are supposed to be great though. Have to get there myself one day.

25 C will do for me thanks...........its warmer than I am used to.

Re: semi dry I took advise from the more experienced divers in my club and they all suggested that.

Yaz,
I just got back from diving in Spain, and the temp was 26deg down to about 18m and then went through a thermocline to about 20/22 deg, wet suit was fine 3mm full suit for 40-50 min dives, then back up to the surface and air temp of 32deg.Have a great time, you'll love it.
Chris
