Question Cyprus Virgin, advice welcome

I learned to dive last year and my mum's only gone and moved to Cyprus (Gouverners Beach) which I believe is somewhere between Larnaca and Limassol.

So, as you'd expect, I'm going to visit mumzy for 2 weeks next month

I'm sure you'll guess what's coming next. He's a diver posting on a diving forum and he's never been to Cyprus.

I've got 2 whole weeks over there, she's a cool mum and won't mind me blowing bubbles while I'm there (in-fact she expects it).

So, advice on dives and dive outfits in the area please. I know the GIVEN is the Zenobia, but for someone who insists on diving OC with a pony, who do you recommend? I would like to avoid the rushed (get em wet and bye bye attitude) some schools have.

Any advice welcome!

PS: If any YD'er is in the area, let me know

PPS: As the site in my tag will agree, there'll be lots of vid, so rest assured, wherever I go, there'll be lost of video to prove what sort of outfit they are

You will need to rent a car to move around. I don't think any dive centers from Limassol will do a pick up from Governor's Beach (it's much closer to Limassol than Larnaca) unless they are going to dive the Zenobia.
I don't use any dive centers from Limassol, so I'll not make any recommendations as I don't have any first hand experience.

Forgot to mention, if you need web site or email addresses of diver centers in Limassol to get in contact with them let me know!

I'm just outside Larnaca - let me know if you need any help/info about this area. Zenobia is 5 mins from Larnaca port, which is 20 mins drive from my house

Thanx for the info/offers.

I've got in-touch with Dive-In (based in Larnaca and Limassol) and they sound very helpful (even doing free nitrox on the Zen!), and can hire me a Pony (save me 5kg luggage)!

I see they're also doing PADI specialities free of charge (ex materials and card). Pitty I didn't know I was going to Cyprus before I did my wreck and deep at Stoney

Mark.
