Opps you almost had me confused then, I thought you were Adrian Kellend. Out of the 3 you mentioned I have only done the Maldives so that would be my recommendation. Lots of choice there. Next October we are doing the Galapagos so hopefully we will see all on your list.

Thanks for the tip..... I had also fancied the Galapagos but had assumed it doesn't quite fit the "honeymoon romantic island" bill!

I'd start off by looking at the weather in your selected regions at that time of year. You'll find that it's the monsoon/rainy season for a lot of the popular destinations. We got married in Sept and ended up in Bali, diving was great weather was hot. If your not worried about the weather the diving in the Maldives is great, however, if the resorts are very quiet then you may find it difficult to get out to sites as they tend to have a minimum number of divers required.

As a honeymoon location, Rangali Maldives (water villas) is pretty much as good as I think it can get. It was unusual to see more than one or two other couples on the beach, and you only needed to look like you were thinking about wanting something, and someone appeared. The diving was not bad (we only did a couple of dives) but don't think the mantas will be around then. Marcus
