| It's a large Turkish-style gulet, heaps of character but basic by today's standards. Very much a matter of taste, but I enjoyed the experience in Jan (last year). The lack of a/c would lead me elsewhere during the Djibouti summer, and the owner is now running an Egyptian-styler liveaboard which goes out to the Seven Brothers, a set of islands in the Strait of Bab El Mandab. I understand the Deli will be used for whale shark trips and charters in the Gulf of Tadjourah. It's an easy-going operation with decent food and an aimiable crew. If you want any elaboration on this, feel free to mail me, simon@dive.uk.com |

Sadly our cabin on the sister ship didnt have ac... we had planned for this, and spent the nights on deck in some sleeping bag liners.... loverly... nice temp - not too cold.. not too hot.... only downside we had was that the electricity wasnt on all the time.. we only had about 2hrs (if we reeeeealy asked) during the day, and on all night. Saracen, if you can do it, then the Rift is a top dive - between 2 continetal plates Also the wreck on the last day is bloody good.. we saw 2 nudis (if i remember i'll dig out the name) but they were a foot long!!!!!
