Question Where to go?

Ok,

Come november time i want to go on holiday somwhere nice and warm. I will be on a fairly tight budget and dont want to go to Malta again but will if it seems to be the best value but would like somewhere else.

I will have to get from Orkney to somewhere else(probably aberdeen or edinburgh) to get out of the UK, so i could feasably fly from london etc.

I will be on my own, and looking to do as much diving as humanly possible in a week

So what do people reccomend.

Bugger, tried to resist but can't help myself. Try Dahab Helen, lots of people go there alone, the diving is great and there is a good social side for the evenings. Be a bit cooler in the evenings in November but hot during the day.

Are there any sites, or travel agents that you know of that do all-in-ione-i-can't-be-arsed-to-organise-it-myself deals?

Or is Dohab like Cairns, in a sort of rock up and work it out when you get there way?

"As much diving as possible" - well that'll be a liveaboard then huh?

Red Sea is probably the best bet.

Hi Helen,
why not try the canary islands, its a short and cheap flight, the water is clear and warm and you can dive 3 or 4 times a day.

Was about to suggest the Canaries, so take this as a second vote. I can get you details of an apartment on Gran Canaria that's off the beaten track and a half decent price. Get friendly with the landlord and you can spend the night getting pi**ed in his garage, I kid you not, he's a really nice bloke!
