Mobile Reception - Brothers

Hi All

Has anyone had reception while on brothers at all ???

I haven't tried but I am sure some people would have. I am sure we were told there was no reception until back at Elphinstone.

Then again my phone wouldn't be switched on anyway - isn't that why we go away.

Hi there,
There's no mobile reception at all at the Brothers, but if it's important, your boat should be equipped with a satellite phone in accordance with Red Sea regulations.
You will have signal within about 2 hours sailing of Elphinstone reef/Marsa Ghalib marina.

I don't think hubby would be impressed if I called the satellite phone, suppose I'll just have to wait a couple of days until he's back in range.
