I love Tenerife for diving and just for the island as a whole. That is where I have seen my first and only shark (Angel shark) and the rays are all over the place, its great. There are so many eagle rays just dotted around the shore sites and some of the more seaward sites.

Matt
If he is, he hides it well!

We love the diving in Tenerife as well; we've been three times now. In fact, my first warm water dives were there, with Scuba1 and a gang of YDers.

Happy days

my parents have been going to Tenerife for 20 years now. I have beein going for 16 years and have been diving there for 4 years, in other words I started diving there at the first possible time. The island behind the diving is also fantastic and a beautiful island, especially if you venture up into the mountains a bit (beware you don't drive above 600m though which is easy to do. I have thought about living there in the future but there doesnt seem to be much there to make a good career, my parents will probably retire there.

Sorry to but in here, im off to Tenerife in Aug and my mate and I are looking for someone to meet up with dive centres in Los Americas area.

So if I got this right you lot suggest I should look at the following:
  • Neptune Divers
  • Island Divers
Any other suggestion, I am not booking anything as this is a family holiday but if I can have a snicky day or 2 off diving all the better.

Thanks again and sorry for hijacking tread TAZA ill make it up to you by telling you what I find out.

Jinxy

Email Neptune divers, the guy is called Alan or it could be his wife Caroline. Have a look at the website (which isnt brilliant) and read the VIP section (it applies to everybody). All gear you might need is included in the dive price.

Matt

P.S. Let us know what you choose and how the holiday goes.

Does that make me a gangster then . I suppose it's better than what I'm normally called

Been to Tenerife 2 or 3 times a year for the past 3 years, diving with Scuba1 of this parish, and enjoyed every minute of it. Going slightly further afield next week ..... Lanzarote here I come

If the next 50 years are anything like the past 50 years, I'll be an old man by the time I'm 100

Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

SpaceHopper. From what I have been told if you want diving in the Canary islands better than Tenerife you definitely want 'EL Hierro'. If you want night life too... then don't go. But I'v been told that everything at 'El hierro' is MASSIVE.

Diving in Tenerife

I was in Tenerife in June and went with Aqua Marina.

www.aqua-marina.com

Had four fantastic dives. They were very helpful on email too before I went.
