Sharm Hotels

just looking at two late deals to sharm.

has anyone stayed at The Sharm Holiday Resort or Calimera Royal Moderna Hotel???????????????
just wondered what either were like and does anyone know which dive centre you would use from either of these resorts.

would you go to the resort again if it was the right price?

thanks in advance.

I don't have first hand experience of either but the Calimera is at nabq bay - a Looooong way out of town.

The resort is at least close to the glitz of Na'ama which wil also give you a good choice of the better known dive operators- Camel, Emperor, Sinai, Ocean and red sea

ask the nice people over on holidaytruths.co.uk there are members of the egypt forum that work out there and you should be able to get an idea or even see a review.

I suggest you give them a call.
We always use Emperor and I know that they do pick up from many hotels but Nabq is a fair way out (we use Hilton Dreams which is a 3 minute stagger).

I stayed in Sharm Holiday two years ago and Red Sea College had a pick up service for this hotel.

It's not far away to/from the center of Naama bay, max 10min walking if you enter from the side entrance that brings you to the swimming pool area. If you go for the main entrance of the hotel you need to add at least another 5 minutes to that.

would you go back to the sharm holiday hotel??? just wondering. I have read some good, some bad reviews but prefer to have a review from a diver. Some of the reviews on holiday sites have people eating and drinking all day on the all inclusive, sat in the sun and then say the food has given them the shits!!!! If a diver gets the squits through poor hygiene in the hotel then its gotta be the food cause none of us get time to sit in the sun all day drinking free booze!!!

thanks

Question Grand Rotana Resort And Spa

I'm going out to the Grand Rotana Resort And Spa in March.

Anyone stayed there or have any advice before I go?

Will be doing a couple of days diving, just not sure what yet!

Thanks
