A Festive Question Hello everyone. We're thinking of going to Egypt for the new year. The main consideration is that Mrs S (who is a non-diver, but snorkels) requires the weather to be of a 'sun bathing' nature (through the day at least). Would it be fair to say that it will be warmer, the further south you go, say, Marsa Alam, than it will be in the north, at say Taba. Or doesn't it really matter. I know it will be warmer further afield, but the money doesn't stretch that far. Regards, Dave.

Marsa will still be sunny most of the time but it will be really windy.

Try Nuweiba If you just read the Fantastic girlfriend thread I will sound like a broken record - sunbathing on the awesome beach at the Nuweiba Hilton is a year round joy!! Protected from the wind and with sunbeds far enough apart that you have to shout to the people on the next beds! See my post on the above thread for a bit more info!! Or PM me - one of my favourite dive AND chill spots!!
