| Went last year, all the diving we did was shore diving. The holiday was booked via regal and we stayed at the Alcazar Hotel which is the base for Sea Star Watersports. Very easy and laid back diving, we got transfered to the beach club not far from the Saudi border from where you were then transfered to the dive site. Here are some photos that a took while out there. ![]() ![]() ![]()

| Or if you prefer diving from a hardboat and English staff then I can recommend Dive Aqaba. Nice guys, laid back approach, good food on board. Also easy to get to from all main hotels in Aqaba and the marina is close by too. The Alcazar looked a bit of a dump from the outside (no offence to the chap above - it may be nicer internally) but I can recommend the Moevenpick if the pennies stretch that far. HTH Graham . If you do - say hi to Rod & Everett for me !! |

The only other thing i would say is fly direct into Jordan, we went via Israel and it was a pain in the a*@e.

| Thanks a lot , was there much to see in the water, the choice is a liveaboard (grand sea serpent doing the southern) or possibly jordan. I thought it might be nice to try something different. I love macro so nudibranches are my all time favourites, i look for all the sizes in all the colours. |
