| Shock News - Tassie Devil's 15 minutes of fame - Diving Troy D...... .....Police in Qld say "So that's where the bugger went......" This TV programme recently featured on one of the local channels. It features a dive on the Troy D and stars YD's very own Tassie Devil (aka Mick Davies), he's the bloke in need of a damned good haircut and it's his boat too; as well as the reporter who evidently has snorkel issues and hyperbolic bullsh!t issues too but that's TV for you. Don't know who the girlies are, and Mick won't tell us, but we are trying to find them to sign them up to our club. Underwater video footage is by Ooimodo, lurker on here and Dive Instructor and sometime Commie Diver, I believe etc etc from the NW Coast of Tassie. Pretty good, if short programme but good to see this stuff on our local TV. Anyway, I hope some of you people can make it down here; Keith W from Perth is going on this trip in December.

| And I've just had a haircut! Those girls were Instructors from Quicksilver on the Barrier Reef! Speaking of which, I just had a stunning (stunning doesn't quite do her justice), blonde, chicky diver from cairns come and knock on my door yesterday. I was out the back, donning pink rubber gloves, elbo deep in the stinky pool filters. I cried at the timing ........ come to think of it, I cried all day!! Do love this job tho! |
