| Sudan On Royal Emporer We finished the 2 week trip as you started your trip. The crew and guide were fantastic and the diving wonderful. We did one week south and one week north. The south was good but we preferred the north. During the course of the 2 weeks we saw plenty of grey reef sharks, including one asleep under a overhang at 8m on a night dive, made us jump a bit when we saw it. We also saw hammerheads and White tips sharks, a Manta Ray, loads of barracuda and all the usual reef dwellers. The coral was pristine and we saw no other dive boats or divers other than on the Umbria. All in all, a trip to be highly recommended. Although it was a wonderful trip, we felt it quite a long way to go for 1 week, and the diving was so great we were glad to have the 2nd. |
