Lalaguna beach club, tech asia or atlantis in Puerto Galera - reefs and well set up for tech

Aniloa - cheaper but not quite as good as PG - reefs. No recommendations since I stay at a mates house - you could try aquaventure, pier uno or planet dive.

I've used Asia Divers in Sabang / puerto galera on several occassions and haven't been disappointed.Scuba Diving Philippines Puerto Galera El Galleon Asia Divers Beach Resort

They are a sister company to Tech asia so can accomodate any level of diving from bubblemaker through to Adv trimix. Instructors/guides are western and Philipino and most have been there several years. I find theri attitude laid back but safe.

For a cost they will collect you from Manilla and transport you to the island (3 hrs in a/c minibus and 1 hr boatride)

Their ownn rooms are basic but clean, a/c, and they have a generator for when /if the power goes off. If the room costs are too high, they can arrange alterante accom. much cheaper just a couple of ins along the beach (no back-up generator though).

Tip - in the Sabang / urto Galera area the ATM are few and far between, cash gets a discount, cards get a surcharge.

We stayed at Sea Dive on Coron, Island of Busuanga in April 2006. weather was very good, diving excellent (if you like wrecks) and it was very cheap. Takes a little organising with flight to Manila then Sea Air Flight out to island but well worth it. We then went onto Subic, diving the week after was good but vis was not great and there was quite a lot of silt on bottom which you had to be careful not to stir up. We dived with Johans dive centre.
