So, following on from the 'best Christmas pressie' thread, I was wondering if any other YDers were booked on her for these dates? Good news for me this time is that I'm flying direct from Manchester, rather than having to hop down to Gatwick; the connections were crap!

It's a lovely boat... try abd get one of the upper cabins - 9,10,11 & 12... a long way for the engines

Deep South, Daedalus (my fave site in the RS), Rocky & St. Johns, which I've not dived before - Also May apparently one of the best times for Mantas (I know, I know, it's always 'they were there last week!'), which I would just love to see, without the extra flying time/expense of the Maldives.

Don't think you can make a request can you? Especially if I'm Ding Dang No Mates, and travelling on my lonesome - usually get put up with some other saddo!

If it is booked through TB, you can ring them and have a chat... you've nothing to lose... except sleep on the overnight passages

You're right... nothing to lose!

I'm a poor sleeper when I'm away anyway, on boats it's even worse! Last time on Hurricane heading overnight to The Brothers, it felt like I spend most of the night a couple of inches to a foot above the mattress anyway, as the waves were pretty sloppy and we were punching into the wind - that combined with the heads deciding to empty themselves into my bathroom meant that sleep was fairly non existent!

I'll give them a call, tell them I've got two small children and when I go away I try to use this time to catch up with the sleep deprivation they bestow upon me!
