| There are no commercial centres there as the vis is so bad in that area. There are a couple of French clubs and a bloke called Eric Bonté is the man to talk to (provided your French is good From Dunkers head East into Belgium and Neuwport and there is a boat or possibly two (not sure if both still in business). Vis is still very hit and miss. There are some great wrecks there and the diving is fantastic when the water clears (so I'm told) The key is to be in touch with the locals and be able to go when conditions are good. Sadly in our time on the mainland we never got it all together to dive our nearest sea Chris

| There are certainly clubs in Calais and Boulogne, and the diving off of there is great, we go over that side quite a lot from Dover I have their addresses somewhere i will have a look. In fact i'm going to be in Calais all this weekend with some spare time so i will endeavor to visit the Calais Club If you are web searching use the word Plongee If you look here this is a video of a dive on HMS Hermes we did last year, an intact and inverted Pre WW1 Cruiser converted to Seaplane carrier in 32m roughly halfway between Calais and Dunkerque about 7 miles offshore

| There are other clubs that travel quite a way out in their Rhibs to dive Mid-Channel wrecks. We met a club from Gent on the site of the Cuvier last year.
