Tornado Marine - Dive Guides

Does anybody know what the situation is re: dive guides ?

Will we be seeing some of last years guides or will it be all new guides again?

I guess it will depend on the boat, why do you particularly want the same guide ?

We dived off Typhoon in Nov and had two Egyptiona guides called Ahmed and Wael.

Until recently the guides would be around for a couple of years and they became like old friends, now it seems they only stay a couple of months then leave.

Chatting to our guides in the Camel Bar after the week they said to ask for them next time when booking. OK it looks good to their employers if we specifically ask for them BUT I presume it also means there is some flexibility as to who you will dive with.

I have only once been with the same dive guide (an Egyptian) but it is brilliant to see familiar faces among the crew - especially when 11 months later they remember you by name!
