Where to go from KL????
Im going to be spending the summer working in the Perhentians, and once i leave ive got about 2 weeks before i need to drag myself back home. The plan is to spend the last week in koh tao, but the second last week is open.

As long as i can start and end up back in Kuala lumpur i can go any where. Ideally a nice liveaboard but a cheap(ish) one.

so far ive looked at heading to Bali as there are regular low cost flights but if anyone can suggest anything better or just different id love to hear it.

Bali is great - Tulamben or Menajan - but what about Manado (no liveaboards but living on an island in the Marine Park), or Komodo (liveaboards leave from Bali). or Phuket - not sure about Similan liveaboards at that time of year. Or Sipadan.....which would be my choice (but no liveaboards). Or Layang Layang. Or the Philipines - some friends just came back Malapascua and raved about it.
