| If you find yourself in the Puorta Del Carmen area there is a Tapas bar next to the harbour that is an absolute must. We were there the year before last and were the only non locals in there. The food was spectacular and so cheap it was embarrasing!!!!! I know it's still there as my father in law was there in December!!!!

| Cant give you any places to eat as such, but there are loads of places to dine in PB lanzarote, who are you diving with ? and where are you staying ? I just came back from PDC Lanzarote 2 weeks ago, very warm, got some good dives in, plenty to see, enjoy the trip. PS is this your first visit to the island ? |

| Have managed to blag a Friends 3bed/3bath villa and have booked to dive with Rubicon due to YD recommendation. Not been to the island before but use this same week every year to try somewhere different. Have done Cyprus, Malta, Tunisia. How will this compare dive wise? |

| Where to eat in Playa Blanca Hey, here are 3 good places, (guaranteed) Aromas de Yaiza in town centre near the post office, try the fresh fish or the lamb. The chocolate fondue is divine to finish with. Casa Nicolas in the "El Pueblo" shopping centre in Coloradas, reservations needed as only 6 tables, try the grilled tuna steak and do not miss the Mango ice cream at the end. La Nuestra also in the "El Pueblo" shopping centre in Coloradas, again reservations needed, very excentric and creative cooking, actually also the only place where you can have sushi or sashimi(guaranteed fresh fish). Beef tenderloin with mushroom sauce and Tiramisu are my favourite. See you around... If you need me to book you in any of them just let me knwo Chris |

cause that's our patch , but if in PB that's who i'd use.Actual sites? Well this is the Atlantic, not Med, so what you see will be bigger. Loads of rays and angel sharks etc. PB itself is pretty shallow and unless you go a bit to the North (which tends to be more exposed), you are not going to get any of the drop-offs. So you'll probably do a few days there until you start working your way East along the Southern coast, probably via Puerto Calero Wrecks and then Los Erizos Wrecks at Carmen itself. It's a bit far and doubt if Rubicon will do it, unless they have a full wagon load and may mean that you might have to hire a car, but if you want a change come dive with us for the day at Mala. Has to be one of the best sites on the island but it is as far from PB as you can get. Not touting for buisness here as i'm sure there is enough to keep you happy for a week in PB, but if you do get the wunderlust for another site, for at least one day, give us a shout. |
