Dive Point - Diving Cyprus - SCUBA Diving in Paphos, Cyprus

I dived the engine room and the holds of the Zenobia with guys from the above on a one to one guided dive. We stayed in Paphos so there was a bit of travelling to do in their 4 x 4 (with air con), however I managed to do these dives away from all the tourist dives, however I did do these as well. Dive Point is run by a Scottish guy who was extremely helpful. The guide (Flemming) works full time throughout the year and knows the Zen well.

There are lots of operators and Octopus diving based in Larnaca was another strong recommendation, however as a resort as it was a family holiday I'd prefer Paphos.

Hope this helps

We go to Paphos and always use Cydive but only because we always dive with them and they know me well enough now.

Always had good service from Dive In at Larnaca

They can access any part of the wreck as long as your group is up to it

I also dived with Cydive, they were organised and safe but they only did the tourist dives on the Zen where upon Dive Point went into the holds and engine room only if they throught you were syitable, had the right experience and kit.

Cydive for me just wanted my money and refused to collect from hotels - however their web site did say they collected divers - I was only 2 miles away.

Stayed at Protarus and both stayed and dived with Easy Divers. Good diving but a fair trek to the Zenobia. Mainly shore based bimbles but enough to see to kep it fun. Only a single day on the Zen though

We are going again next month and will be staying and diving with Alpha Divers based at Larnaca - we have some space if you fancy going joining in.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Andy

If you want more than "Tourist Dives" on the Zen then I can't speak for CyDive, thats all we wanted at that time, but as for collecting divers we did 6 dives with them and they collected and returned us to our hotel for every dive, stored our kit and delivered us back complete with kit at the end of our stay. Photos (the proprieter, not camera stuff ) bent over backwards to help and accomodate our needs including Nitrox and I can't praise them enough!

Just my 2p and I appreciate everyones experiences are different!
