Cape Verde
hello fab divey people

Has anyone been diving around any of the islands that make up Cape Verde?
Got a cheap flight leaving mid march and have looked online and see that there is diving just wondered if anyone has any tips, maybe some pointers about dive shops? Fly into Sal island but Maio sounds more like my kinda pace.

have been out of the water for 13 months and about 10 days hoping i can dive as much as poss there

i dived around sal a while back.
most of the hotels have some sort of dive shop/concession.
i dived with some portugese chaps who had the only shop on san antonio beach at the south end of sal.
mainly rib stuff .
great diving but can be rough on the surface.

they may ask you to do a refresher thingy if you have not dived for 6 months or more.

have fun.

Great place for diving. Awful if not.
