MV Snapdragon?
Anyone been on this boat recently?
They have some good deals for late March which I'm tempted by, doing the Northern route out of Sharm.

it's one of the 'Flower of Sinai' fleet, along with 'Orchid' & 'Tiger Lily'. I haven't been on Snapdragon, but I have been on the other two & frankly I wouldn't use them again. both trips had dodgy plumbing, semi-working air-con, semi-working nitrox, many people with upset stomachs, mediocre guides & boats that frankly just looked tired & in need of a re-furb

I've just got back from a fantastic, faultless week on Whirlwind - I know where I'll be booking again in future

i used the orchid a few years back and basicaly the boat was shag*ged

the generators kept breaking down

the membrane mixing system had problems a few days into the trip,

the cabins smelt foisty,food was below average, sockets hanging off the

wall ,smashed sink in our cabin ! air con that worked when it wanted to which

ment some nites it was so hot it was better sleeping on deck !

if you can overlook all that??

the staff where ace and made the most of what they

had,which wasnt a lot !

and the diving was exceptional

hope the snapdragon is one of the better boats in the flowers of sinia fleet

i hope your right, im off on the tiger lily this sunday with my dive buddy and apparently 14 members of the east midlands beach volleyball team (womens division) it will be my first time diving outside the uk and im really looking forward to it, compared to the converted mfv's in scapa or normandy this thing looks like a floating gin palace and not a huge difference in price ! i just hope it lives up to my expectations if it does then me and the girls should have a great time.
