Family Hols in Lanzarote

Right we have finally booked our family holiday and we are NOW going to Lanzarote we was going to Tenerifle but the chance to use someones time share at very little cost, encouraged me to change.

I have no idea if the diving is any good but it cant be any worse than Turkey and did manage to found some details on a few wrecks which i will enjoy exploring so im happy.

so as anyone point out any dive centres that they can say are top notch.

Ron

Haven't been for 10 years or so but the steel wreck and other wrecks dive off Puerto del Carmen(sp?) was well worth doing. I did my PADI wreck speciality on that steel wreck. The German nudist beach dive was an eye opening experience + a couple of diver friendly moray eels under water.

Err - Cough, did anybody call me

Calipso Diving Lanzarote

Depends where you are staying, but we are based at Costa Teguise and
do Puerto del Carmen and the East Side up as far as Mala, which is a must
do dive site.

There are more outfits in Carmen itself and a few if you are right over in
the West at Playa Blanca.

Let me know where you are staying and I can advise better.

If you want reccomendations, then do a search for us on here. Loads of
YD'ers dive with us. Failing that if you can make it, we will be at LIDS
on stand 720 (ITDA).

Come say hello.

Rgds
Terry

If you're staying in Playa Blanca, I've dived with Marina Rubicon who were fantastic.

We dived with calipso too, pete has a funny way of giving you a compliment along the lines "you are not as rubbish in the water i expected" but they seem pretty safe and the kit was in good order.

I left a small SMB in the pocket of one of their rental BCDs so if anyone is going over there and wants to bring it home for me I would be grateful!

We only did a couple of days diving as the holiday was really about learning to surf for me and Beth and kite surf for matt
