destination 4 Sep2008 - Inspriration required...

Me & 2 other guys have been to Malta prev 2years around late Sep for a weeks diving (v.good it has been 2!)

Thinking at mo where to go this year and am trying to come up with somewhere diff 4 a change. We are working on below criteria.

6hr flight max (will bend a tad a on this)
flights from Manc or Leeds/Bradford ideally
Warm water (& sunshine above water 2!)
Not Malta & not Red Sea (ideally...). The guys who I'm off with have been their twice this year (Marsa A)

would appreciate if anybody says "I went to "X" last year around that time & had a great time... Try looking at...."

You will get loads of suggestions, but you could do worse than Tenerife. there are a few opertors from there who visit YD from time to time, but I have always used
Tenerife Dive. Plenty to do aside from diving too.

What about Malaga? You can fly from Manchester. Errrrrrrr...can't give any comments yet, as I am only going next Saturday for 2 weeks. Yay!! Ask me after that.

Hi Mark

last October i went ot Cape Verde. The flight was 5.75 hours and we stayed on the Island of Sal at the Rui all inclusive complex. The hotel was fantastic, the weather was hot and sunny and the hotel had its own dive club, Scubacaribe, on the beach. The diving was good, i can try and post some photos if you're interested, and for a week we got a deal with Thomsons, it cost £650 each which was really good value as this included all food and drink. I paid £180 for 12 dives, 2 per day. Apart from the diving there is nothing else to do on the Island but the hotel has some good facilities. It's perfect for a weeks diving at this time of year and still get the sun.
